I was in Cebu in September for a short holiday to visit my family and especially to be there for my brother's wedding. Unfortunately, my husband, Luuk, couldn't make it. It was nice spending time with my family as always. I've been living abroad for more than 5 years that I always look forward to go back home to see them. I can't wait to be back there again soon!

It was raining all week in Cebu, my brother and sister-in-law offered eggs to the nuns at the Carmelite church in Cebu City. It is an old religious belief/custom that Cebuanos do when we want to ask the nuns to help pray for. And luckily enough, on the day of his wedding, the sun was shining, and there was no trace of rain coming our way.
It was a beautiful, and rustic themed wedding. The details during the reception were very beautiful. It reminded me of my own wedding! I was part of the entourage so I couldn't take pictures during the ceremony. But here are some pictures during the dinner/reception.
